Big AEW Signing Reportedly Confirmed

You can always expect to see a few surprises during AEW’s annual Grand Slam edition of Dynamite, and this year former WWE United States Champion MVP made his debut with the company.

Following his big debut at Grand Slam, Fightful Select is reporting that MVP has signed with AEW and as of now he is officially All Elite. Fightful Select recently reported that The Hurt Syndicate had been in talks with AEW.

MVP confronted Prince Nana during the show and questioned his skills as a manager. He then handed Nana a business card and told him to give it to his client Swerve.

Swerve Strickland dropped the AEW World Championship to Bryan Danielson at AEW All In last month and shortly after he was defeated by Adam Page in the main event at All Out. Swerve is currently taking time off, but it’s being reported that he was always planned to at least make an appearance at the WrestleDream pay-per-view in October.

After Grand Slam, MVP commented on his big AEW debut when he posted the following on Instagram:

“I am conducting my business in a new location…”
