There are a number of wrestlers who have been trying to break through to the next level over the last few years, and Jade Cargill has been one of the stars to watch in AEW. Cargill managed to win 60 straight matches before finally taking a loss, and she carried the TBS Championship for quite some time, but it seems that her time with the company is done.
It was recently reported that Jade Cargill’s AEW contract has expired, and that she’s expected to join WWE. Jade Cargill’s departure has now seemingly been confirmed as AEW has removed her from the roster page on their official website.
Jade Cargill’s contract with AEW expired last week which means her match with Kris Statlander and Rampage last week was her final match for AEW. Fightful recently reported that Cargill is expected to make her way to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this week.
It seems to be all but confirmed at this point that Jade Cargill will be joining WWE, and there’s a lot of speculation regarding whether or not she’ll start in NXT, or go straight to the main roster. Stay tuned for updates.
