Bianca Belair has become one of the top stars in WWE over the last few years and as of this writing she’s been holding the Raw Women’s Championship for 394 days. Rhea Ripley has also been working her way up the ladder in WWE, and there’s no denying that Ripley and Belair have been able to achieve major success on the main roster.
Earlier this year Rhea Ripley got to face off against Beth Phoenix in a mixed tag team match at the Elimination Chamber premium live event, and it sounds like Beth Phoenix is a potential dream opponent for Bianca Belair. During a recent appearance on the After The Bell podcast Bianca Belair admitted that she was a little jealous of Rhea because she always wanted to face Beth Phoenix.
“I wanted to hang out with Beth Phoenix. I mean, Rhea’s have a great year. She’s done a lot of amazing, great things. I’m just like, ‘I wanted that.’ Beth is amazing. She’s great. Whenever I came into WWE, my answer [for which legend I would want to face in a dream match was always] Beth Phoenix. So I’m excited for Rhea. She’s doing amazing things, and I’m excited for her WrestleMania match, but I was a little jealous when she got to wrestle Beth Phoenix.”
Last week during night 1 of the WWE Draft, Bianca Belair was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown despite the fact that she’s the current Raw Women’s Champion, so it will be interesting to see how the title situation is handled moving forward. Stay tuned for updates.
