When Beth Pheonix retired in September of 2012 stating she was leaving due to family reasons, it left a hole in the women’s roster that took some time to fill. Since then she’s kept herself busy. She’s worked hard to earn a master’s degree, she’s had two children with Adam “Edge” Copeland, and she is a soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer. But she very well might be getting that itch to have one more match.

Word has been making the rounds WWE is looking to bring in some former female talent for an unknown reason. This is great timing as Phoenix seems to be interested in lacing up her boots one more time, at least she’s interested in tweeting about it.
The former WWE Women’s Champion took to Twitter to tease a possible mixed tag match between two of NXT’s most popular teams.
It is official and it’s not a rib, Bruce Prichard has been hired on at Impact Wrestling. He will be an on-air personality and have backstage duties as well. Those who have fallen out of Impact Wrestling will have a new reason to tune in to see how his creative influence might be implemented alongside veteran professional wrestling minds like Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantell.
It’s just a shame Prichard won’t have the chance to work with the Broken Hardys, Drew Galloway, or any of the other number of TNA talent that has left the company recently.
Since Dixie Carter is no longer in the picture with such an influential role it’s almost ironic so many brilliant wrestling minds are flocking to the former TNA in order to take over the reins.
Bruce is going to be a busy man as he picks up this new role with Impact Wrestling as well as keep up his highly successful weekly podcast on the MLW Radio Network. Prichard knows how invested his fans are in his current goings-on and success as he sent out a few tweets to show what he’s up to.
You know, he’s on his way to do something great in Orlando. We’re excited.
