CM Punk tried to make the jump to MMA when he faced Mickey Gall at UFC 203, but unfortunately for Punk, it didn’t work out so well. Now another wrestler may be making his way into the MMA world, as Bellator MMA has confirmed they’ve been in talks with Ryback.
“Spoke, but nothing close,” said Bellator CEO Scott Coker.
F4Wonline.com is reporting that sources close to Ryback say he is interested in fighting, and in the end it will come down to money. Current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley also fights for Bellator.
Ryback recently changed his legal name from Ryan Reeves to Ryback Reeves. Ryback irst noted that he’s open to the idea of doing MMA during a radio interview with X107.5 in Las Vegas on Monday.
