MMAFighting.com spoke with Bellator President Scott Coker yesterday, who confirmed that the mixed martial arts organization has been in talks with Alberto Del Rio.
“I think that we did reach out,” Coker said. “I’m not sure where that is and by no means is it in the 11th hour, but I know there’s some dialogue going on.”
Coker noted that Rodríguez “has had a lot of great MMA fights” in the past, and seeing him squaring off against fighters on the Bellator roster would be a “fun time.”
Alberto’s professional MMA record is 9 wins and 5 losses.
