Becky Lynch Wins NXT Women’s Championship For First Time In Her Career

In recent months fans have seen a number of main roster stars get involved with NXT and Becky Lynch has been feuding with Tiffany Stratton over the last few weeks. Their rivalry came to a head on Tuesday night as they finally faced off when Becky Lynch challenged Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship.

It was a major night for Becky Lynch as she managed to win the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time in her career when she defeated Tiffany Stratton with the Manhandle Slam. After the match Becky Lynch celebrated with the NXT Women’s Championship belt to a big reaction from the fans in attendance.

Becky Lynch made her TV debut for the NXT in 2014, but she didn’t end up winning the NXT Women’s Championship during her original run the brand. She was called up to the main roster in 2015 and she went on to become the inaugural SmackDown Women’s Champion. Lynch has held the SmackDown Women’s Championship a total of four times and the Raw Women’s Championship twice. Earlier this year she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Lita, and Becky Lynch’s big NXT Women’s Championship win on Tuesday night has officially solidified her as a Women’s Grand Slam Champion.
