Becky Lynch is the first ever SmackDown Live Women’s Champion, and she’s been a dominant force in the division ever since the brand extension was reinstated, but the landscape has changed over the past few weeks.
Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan recently joined the SmackDown Live roster, and they’ve been trying to run the division as a unit called The Riott Squad.
Whether you love them or hate them, they’ve got people talking, and Becky Lynch happens to be one of the people currently talking about the group.
When they made their debut on SmackDown they sent a message to the roster by beating up Becky Lynch, and Lynch hasn’t appeared on TV since.
Becky took a shot at The Riott Squad Sunday night during Clash of Champions when she responded to a tweet from WWE with the following:
Pretty harsh words indeed, but the fun didn’t stop there.
Liv Morgan tried to take a shot at Becky Lynch, but Becky fired a shot right back when she told Liv that people cringe when they watch her “wrestle.”
SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair seemed to find the comment amusing.
Becky Lynch is currently away from WWE filming the next installment in The Marine franchise, but it’s probably safe to say she’ll be looking to get some revenge on The Riott Squad when she returns.
