Becky Lynch is one of the toughest women in the WWE today, and on Sunday night she has a chance to become the first ever Miss Money in the Bank. Lynch is never one to walk away from a fight, but tonight she won’t be able to rely on her Dis-Arm-Her submission hold to help her get the big victory she needs at Money in the Bank.
The Dis-Arm Her has helped Becky Lynch win some big matches, and the unique name immediately catches your attention. The first ever SmackDown Live Women’s Champion recently spoke to Sportskeeda about the move, and she says former WWE star Simon Gotch is the one who came up with the name.
“Actually it was Goldust who came up with it. The name was something that Simon Gotch came up with. I was trying to figure out a name for it and he’s actually very good at wordplay, so he came up with that.”
Becky Lynch is currently dating UFC fighter Luke Sanders, and she says that in the past he’s helped her come up with new ideas for moves to use inside the ring. However, even though a UFC fighter may be influencing her move set, that doesn’t mean she’s interested in pursuing MMA.
“No. That’s not something that I envision myself doing. It’s not my passion; I’m passionate about sports entertainment and that’s where I wanna keep putting my energy into.”
