Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship back in February, and they’ve been the top team in the division ever since. Ahead of WrestleMania 41, Lyra Valkyria & Bayley earned the right to challenge Liv & Raquel for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but Bayley was written out of the match.
On Saturday, WWE revealed that Bayley had been attacked backstage, and Adam Pearce told Lyra Valkyria that she had 24 hours to find a new partner for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania.
Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez made their way down to the ring first. Lyra Valkyria came out next and she waited at the bottom of the ramp. When it was time for Lyra’s mystery partner to be revealed Becky Lynch’s music hit and The Man officially made her return to WWE. Liv & Raquel looked very concerned as Lyra & Becky entered the ring.
Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan were the first two competitors in the match, but Liv decided not to get physical with Becky as she left the ring and tagged Raquel in. After a few minutes Liv & Raquel dominated the match as they isolated Lyra Valkyria.
Finally Becky Lynch got the tag and she went right after Liv Morgan. Lynch got Liv Morgan in the Disarmher, but Raquel kicked Becky in the face to break the hold.
Liv Morgan connected with Oblivion on Becky and immediately went for the pin. Lyra Valkyria made the save then hit Raquel with a DDT on the floor.
Back in the ring Becky hit Liv Morgan with the Manhandle Slam to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. After the match she celebrated with Lyra Valkyria as they held up the belts.
