We’re only days away from Survivor Series, and Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch was without a doubt one of the most anticipated matches on the card.
However, Fightful broke the news earlier that it’s suspected Becky Lynch may have suffered a broken nose and concussion during the multi-woman brawl on Raw this week, and she has reportedly been pulled from the PPV.
PWInsider is reporting that they’ve confirmed that Lynch is not expected to be cleared by Sunday, and several scenarios are being discussed for tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live.
One idea is for Becky Lynch to drop the title to someone else, and have whoever wins it go on to face Ronda Rousey on Sunday.
It’s been speculated that Charlotte Flair could be next in line to take the belt if WWE goes that route, but if WWE decides to go with Flair then that could put a potential WrestleMania match in jeopardy, as it’s been rumored that company officials are considered Flair vs. Rousey for WrestleMania 35.
Throughout the course of the afternoon several names have been pitched for potential opponents for Rousey including Mandy Rose and the IIconics, but it’s being said that no definitive choice has been made.
