Lately everyone is talking about the coronavirus as large gatherings around the world have been canceled due to the pandemic.
The virus has had a big impact on the wrestling industry, as events have either been canceled or moved to safe locations.
Current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch addressed WWE’s reaction to the coronavirus during an interview with TV Insider, and she said it’s business as usual.
“It’s business as usual. I think we’re constantly meeting different people. We’re constantly shaking hands. We know to use hand sanitizer. We’re always exposed to so many different bacteria in our lives and so many different countries. You can’t freak out about any of this stuff. You have to continue on and hope for the best.”
Shayna Baszler recently earned the right to challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36 on Sunday, April 5 and as of right now the Show of Shows is still moving forward.
