Over the last few years Becky Lynch has become one of the top stars in WWE, and she’s been on a roll ever since she returned at the SummerSlam pay-per-view last month. Lynch defeated Bianca Belair in a matter of seconds to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and she is once again at the top of the ladder in the women’s division.
Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins welcomed their baby girl into the world in December of 2020, and it wasn’t long before The Man started training again so she could get back in ring shape.
Lynch recently spoke to Muscle and Fitness about having issues with her body in the past and she noted that becoming a mother changed her perspective.
“I just feel like I appreciate my body more. I go, ‘Well, you know what? I’ve created a life … this is great … this is great.’ I don’t really care how it looks any more, you know what I mean? If that makes sense? I’ve always had body issues, and I was always self-conscious about, you know, whether it’s showing my stomach off… and now I’m just real proud of the function of it, of everything it can do. So, I don’t know if it’s a mental thing that just turns into a physical thing. If that makes any sense?”
Becky Lynch will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules tonight. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
