It’s certainly not uncommon for WWE stars to make the jump to Hollywood as names like The Rock, John Cena and Dave Bautista have all achieved massive success in the acting world. Becky Lynch has also been branching out in recent years and it looks like she will be appearing in a highly anticipated upcoming movie.
PWInsider is reporting that Becky Lynch has landed a supporting role in Happy Gilmore 2. The belief is that she will be part of a rival group of golfers. Reggie Bush is also set to be a part of the same group.
Becky Lynch’s role in the film has been kept under wraps, but it’s been confirmed that her scene in the movie has already been filmed.
Happy Gilmore 2 is also set to feature a few more faces that will be familiar to wrestling fans as Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Bad Bunny are also part of the cast.
An official release date for the film has not been revealed as of this writing, but Happy Gilmore 2 is expected to arrive on Netflix at some point in 2025.
Becky Lynch last appeared on WWE programming back in May. So far no official announcements have been made regarding her return, although it is worth noting that Lynch was recently featured in an ad for Raw on Netflix.
