Sunday night at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Ronda Rousey successfully defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks, and on Monday she held an open challenge for the title.
Bayley answered the open challenge, but she couldn’t dethrone the champion, and Ronda ended up getting the win.
After the match, Ronda showed respect to Bayley and she helped her up. As Ronda and Bayley were looking at each other in the ring, Becky Lynch’s music hit and the crowd went crazy.
Becky grabbed a mic and said, “Ronnie, I told you I’d find a way back to you again.”
She said she came looking for Ronda because she wants to prove Rousey isn’t the Baddest Woman on the Planet. The fans chanted for Becky.
Becky said she’s going to challenge Ronda at WrestleMania, and she’s going to kick her ass in front of the whole world. The fans chanted “kick her ass, kick her ass.”
Ronda tried to respond to Rousey, but the fans just booed her and showed support for Becky Lynch.
Rousey said she’s been a household name for a decade, and any ring she steps into is hers, and she’s going to own Becky at WrestleMania.
Ronda got heated and fired up during the stare down, but Becky remained calm, cool and confident as Rousey exited the ring.
