On this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, the first ever Miss Money in the Bank took on the SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi in a non-title match. Carmella picked up a big win thanks to her friend James Ellsworth who returned and interfered in the match. That’s right folks, Ellsworth is back.
Ellsworth was suspended by Daniel Bryan after he interfered in not one, but two Money in the Bank ladder matches, but Ellsworth’s suspension is now over, and he noted that things have changed on SmackDown since he’s been gone.
It’s no big secret that Becky Lynch and James Ellsworth aren’t the best of friends, as Ellsworth has been a thorn in Becky’s side for months now. Lynch felt the need to comment on his return by insinuating that James Ellsworth is actually an alien.
That was a pretty clever dig from Becky Lynch, that’s for sure. But in the end it was James Ellsworth who won this Twitter battle after he pulled out all the stops and took their rivalry to the next level.
He may not be the Macho Man, but there’s no denying that Ellsworth is a savage.
