Many of WWE’s top stars are out of action and WrestleMania season is here. Naturally WWE is trying to round up big names for WrestleMania 32 in Texas and according to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Vince McMahon recently made an offer to former WWE Champion Batista.
The report mentions that Batista was backstage at the Royal Rumble and that Vince McMahon pitched him an idea to make a one off appearance at WrestleMania 32 but Batista turned it down. The idea was apparently for Batista to simply appear at the event and not wrestle.
It’s also said that the door has been left open for Vince to pitch more ideas but it’s unlikely that anything will happen. Batista starts filming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” next month which is obviously going to keep him busy for a while.
