It’s been 4 years since Batista finished up his last run with WWE, but he returned on Tuesday night for SmackDown 1000.
Batista reunited with the other 3 members of Evolution, and when they got in the ring Flair, Orton and Triple H all cut short promos.
Big Dave then gave a heartfelt speech about why he wanted to return, and he told the fans that he loved them.
He then hyped up Randy Orton, saying that they all knew he was special the first time they saw him. Then he turned his attention to Flair, and jokingly told Flair to keep it in his pants.
Batista then turned his attention to Triple H. He said Triple H is the business, and there’s nothing he hasn’t done, except beat him.
Things got tense as Triple H and Batista had a stare down, but eventually they cooled off and hugged, but before the segment ended Triple H glared at Batista.
It remains to be seen if Batista will be returning to the ring, but he’s said before that Triple H is at the top of his list for potential opponents, and it certainly seemed that a seed was planted for a match in the future.
