Batista Talks CM Punk Returning, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns And More

Digital Spy spoke to Batista, who was promoting Guardians of the Galaxy. Here are some highlights from the interview:

* He said he will back in WWE and that he still loves it. He says that he loves the live audience, which is a fix that he doesn’t get from films.

* When asked who would win the SummerSlam match with Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena, Batista said that they obviously have to do something with Brock after ending the streak at WrestleMania, otherwise “they’re idiots.”

* Batista thinks Roman Reigns will be the first guy from The Shield to be at the top.

* He said that some of the heat he got from fans was because it was the trendy thing to do. Batista said that he would be annoyed if he went to a show and people would start chanting things that have nothing to do with the show. He said that he would stand up and tell people to “shut the hell up.”

* Batista thinks CM Punk will be back and “for a fact” that Punk loves professional wrestling. He doesn’t see Punk wrestling for “a lesser organization unless he spent some time in Japan.”

“I think eventually he’ll come back,” Batista said. “I think he belongs there. I think the fans really love him and miss him. I think he loves it and misses it just as much. I’m really not sure why he left. He’ll be back, I would think that he would be back. I think it would be kind of crazy if he didn’t go back.”
