It’s been a while since fans have seen Batista on WWE programming as the former WWE Champion has been focused on his acting career for quite some time now. Even though Batista doesn’t make regular appearances on WWE TV anymore he’s still quite active on social media.
Recently Dave took to Instagram to show off his grey beard, and he joked that he’s transforming into an old man when he posted the following: “I’m definitely transitioning into ‘old man Dave’ ”
Batista last competed in the ring when he faced off against Triple H in a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 35. In the end it was Triple H who picked up the win on the Grandest Stage of Them All and following the match Batista declared that he’s officially retired from in-ring competition.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was announced for the 2020 Hall of Fame class, but has yet to be inducted as the Hall of Fame induction ceremony was canceled that year due to the pandemic. There’s currently no word on when Batista will be officially inducted. Stay tuned for updates.
