Batista Is Serious About Another Run With WWE

It’s been a while since Batista quit the new form of Evolution that banded together minus Ric Flair around WrestleMania XXX season, and he’s seen a ton of success in Hollywood since then. Now it looks like the wrestling bug might be biting The Animal in a big way and if he comes back to WWE, he’s going to make his last run count.

After all, Batista kind of got started later in the game and at this point, the 48-year-old former WWE Champion might not have much time to get in the ring. But if his movie projects allow him the opportunity to come back to WWE, it looks like he’s very serious about making that move.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports Batista is wanting to come back to WWE for a lengthy run lasting six months to a year. His schedule might be more like Chris Jericho’s instead of Brock Lesnar’s as well because the belief is he’ll want to work more dates on a regular schedule.

But one of the biggest hangups is Batista’s current movie career. If he gets an offer to film anything during that time frame of his WWE contract, Vince McMahon and Company would need to be added into the negotiations because WWE owns a performer’s contract during the time of their run.

But there could certainly be some big things on the way and Batista might be a part of them. It was pretty exciting to have him back the last time, let’s just hope Batista’s next run is more accepted from a fan standpoint because after all, everybody loves Drax The Destroyer.
