WrestleMania has come and gone, and the event featured some great performances from some of the biggest stars in the wrestling business, but it didn’t feature an appearance from Batista.
Batista hasn’t wrestled a match in WWE since 2014, but he’s made it clear that he’s open to return to the company under the right circumstances.
He also recently made it clear on social media that he’s never quit WWE, or walked out on the company.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently responded to a report by saying that he’s never stepped away from WWE before his obligations were completely fulfilled, and he’s even extended his contracts in the past to finish up certain feuds.
Even though Batista has said he would like to return to WWE at some point and eventually have a meaningful feud with Triple H, it doesn’t seem that there are currently any plans on the table for him to wrestle in the near future.
It was rumored that Batista was being considered for Ronda Rousey’s match at Mania this year, but ultimate Kurt Angle ended up teaming with Rousey to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
