Last year former WWE Champion Batista was officially announced for the Hall of Fame, but he has yet to be inducted because there was no induction ceremony in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 2020 class will be inducted with the 2021 class during this year’s induction ceremony, but unfortunately Batista will not be a part of the event.
Batista took to Twitter to note that he is unable to attend the ceremony due to previous obligations when he posted the following:
“To the @WWEUniverse Unfortunately due to previous obligations I am unable to be a part of the @WWE #HOF this year. By my request they have agreed to induct me at a future ceremony where I’ll be able to properly thank the fans and people who made my career possible #DreamChaser”
So far Molly Holly and Eric Bischoff have been confirmed for the 2021 Hall of Fame class.
The 2020 class now consists of the nWo (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman) The Bella Twins, JBL, Jushin Thunder Liger and Davey Boy Smith.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will air on Tuesday, April 6. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
