Batista has been doing a lot of interviews as of late while promoting his newest film, and he was recently asked about a potential WWE return.
The former WWE Champion noted that he’s open to returning for a feud with the right opponent, but it doesn’t look like WWE has much interest in bringing him back at the moment.
A fan recently reached out to WWE on Twitter and suggested that the company should find a way to book Batista for SmackDown 1000, but Batista responded by saying that he hasn’t been invited.
Even though Batista hasn’t been invited to SmackDown 1000, he has been invited to Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore, and Tommy Dreamer told him that he’s always welcome to work with the promotion.
With no sign of interest from WWE, do you think Batista should sign himself up for a few independent dates?
