Baron Corbin is a man without many boundaries. He is capable of dangerous things that includes a heck of a lot of violence. On last night’s episode of Talking Smack, Baron Corbin unleashed in a big way. The Lone Wolf pounced on the set to take out Sami Zayn. It was actually a somewhat pleasant episode before that point. But nothing can stay calm in WWE for long. Officials flooded the set and Baron Corbin dispatched with one of them in a pretty violent fashion. You can see below just how well referees bounce.
Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan weren’t on SmackDown Live this week. Daniel was with his wife, Brie Bella as she’s about to give birth to their first child and Shane McMahon was somewhere else doing whatever he does.
When Shane McMahon heard the news and saw the footage he wasn’t happy at all. Shane McMahon took to Twitter and tore into Baron Corbin. It took two tweets to fit in all of his displeasure.
Shane said it is never acceptable to put your hands on an official. McMahon called Baron Corbin irresponsible and unprofessional. After that, he suspended him for one week.
Yeah, one week. That’ll teach him! Baron will have plenty of time for it to sink in so he can think about what he’s done.
This might be all kayfabe, but it’s pretty great nonetheless. Keeping Baron Corbin off television for a week will give his character time to plot his next move. Instead of just attacking at random, he can have a plan.
He’s in line for a big push soon. He’s also the favorite to win Money In The Bank. This story of him as an uncontrollable beast might be a great tactic. It certainly entertains us. We’ll have to see if he learns his lesson in one week’s time.
