A few weeks ago Kurt Angle announced that he’ll be wrestling his farewell match at WrestleMania 35 next month, and this week on Raw his opponent was confirmed.
Angle picked Baron Corbin to be his opponent, and he said that he’s looking forward to making Corbin tap out at Mania.
The announcement was met with a lot of backlash from the wrestling community, and WWE even acknowledged the negative reaction on commentary during Raw.
In response to the backlash Corbin posted a gif of himself saying “I’ll buy a boat then float down the river of your tears,” along with the caption “I think I’m going to need a BIGGER boat!”
