Sami Zayn has been one of the most talked about wrestlers in WWE for months now as he’s gone from being a member of The Bloodline to the person leading the charge to take the group down. Zayn and Kevin Owens aren’t on the same page just yet, but it’s been rumored for months now that they will be challenging The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns is expected to be the main event for night two of WrestleMania, and Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley is expected to main event night 1.
While asking about the possibility of Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs. The Usos headlining night one the Observer noted that there were political reasons in play which resulted in Ripley vs. Flair getting the spot. It’s not clear at this point in time if The Usos vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens will still take place during night one of WrestleMania 39.
It was also noted that the original idea for night one if The Rock returned was to create a second world title with Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes being considered for the match. WrestleMania 39 will air live from SoFi Stadium on April 1 and April 2. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
