Earlier this week NJPW stripped Shinsuke Nakamura of his IWGP Intercontinental Championship and Nakamura will be working his last event with the company later this month.
PWInsider.com is now reporting that Nakamura is set to start training at the WWE Performance Center in early February. Nakamura is also set to undergo medical testing and if everything checks then he would be cleared to sign with the company.
