Backstage Update On John Cena’s Status For WWE WrestleMania 39

It’s been a while since fans have seen John Cena compete in a WWE ring as his last televised match took place when he faced Roman Reigns at SummerSlam in 2021. Cena returned to WWE programming a few months go and he declared that he will return to the ring, but he doesn’t know when.

There’s been a lot of speculation regarding John Cena’s status for WrestleMania 39 next year, and WrestleVotes recently told GiveMeSport that Cena is expected to be wrestling on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

“Cena should be there and Cena should be wrestling. I know he touches base every so often, and although Vince is out of the picture, Cena still has a love for this place. John Cena and Triple H have a respect for each other.”

“WrestleMania is still WrestleMania and it’s in Los Angeles. If Cena is legitimately trying to be ‘the next Rock’ you should perform at WrestleMania in Hollywood, and I think he’ll be there and I think it’ll be wrestling. I’ll leave it at that.”
