It was recently reported that WWE is planning to move ahead with an Owen Hart DVD. Once the news broke, Owen Hart’s widow, Martha Hart made it clear when she released a statement this week that she does not support the idea of releasing the DVD.
After reading the statement, a possible WWE Hall of Fame induction for Owen became a hot topic among fans with most feeling like it’s highly unlikely at this point.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that although a 2016 Hall of Fame induction is being discussed for Owen, the company is hesitant to move ahead knowing Martha won’t support it. The general feeling backstage is that if they do it without her blessing it will cause too much controversy and won’t be worth it.
