Dolph Ziggler will be facing off against The Miz at No Mercy on Sunday. The Intercontinental Championship will be on the line and if Dolph doesn’t win the match, he must retire.
Ric Flair noted on the most recent episode of his podcast that he’s heard Dolph Ziggler’s career may be over on Sunday, but he hopes it’s not true. Flair added that he hopes he’s not letting the cat out of the bag, but WWE apparently wants Dolph to work in a producer role.
Ric Flair’s co-host Conrad asked if he felt Dolph got his just due in the business and Flair responded with an emphatic “No.” Flair added that he thinks Ziggler is more talented than he’s had the chance to show.
Bryan Alvarez also noted on Wrestling Observer Live that there’s talk of Dolph Ziggler losing the match on Sunday.
Dolph has been building up his profile outside of wrestling over the past few years doing stand up comedy and talking about politics on Fox Business.
