Backstage Reaction To Triple H Taking Over WWE Creative

Last week it was announced that Vince McMahon has retired, and today it was announced that Triple H will take over all responsibilities related to WWE creative.

Fightful Select reports that they’ve clarified with WWE that Triple H will indeed be heading up creative for the company in addition to his regular duties. Ed Koskey and Bruce Prichard were reportedly largely in control of SmackDown last week with producers being told that Triple H would be the “finish guy.”

It’s been confirmd that Bruce Prichard is still with the company and will continue to work in creative. Higher ups were also told that as Vince McMahon transitions into retirement he will still be available to some degree.

There’s said to be general excitement among talent when it comes to the changes to WWE creative. A source at USA Network also reportedly reacted to the news and said, “this is an exciting change.”
