During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Liv Morgan faced off against Kairi Sane in a match that had a to be stopped after Liv suffered an injury. Shortly after Michael Cole confirmed that Liv had dislocated her shoulder.
PWInsider is reporting that the injury is 100% legitimate and this was not something that was done to write Liv off TV so she can work on other projects. WWE medical personnel checked on Liv Morgan as soon as she got backstage.
At this point in time the severity of the injury is unknown. If it is a severe dislocation Liv could potentially be out for up to 16 weeks before she’s cleared. However, that has not been confirmed as the severity of the dislocation has not been determined. Regarding the reaction to the injury it’s being said that it was seen as a freak occurrence, and there is no heat on anyone.
Liv Morgan has been one of the top stars in the WWE women’s division for some time now, and she’s been involved in multiple storylines as of late. Last week on Raw a potential match with Nikki Bella was seemingly teased with many fans speculating that the match could take place at Evolution II. Morgan also confronted Iyo Sky during this week’s episode of Raw and made it clear that she wants a shot at the WWE Women’s World Championship. Unfortunately it seems that Liv’s storylines will have to be put on hold for now.
Stay tuned for more updates on Liv Morgan’s status as they become available.
