The Bloodline storyline has been dominating WWE programming for years now, and the tension within the group really boiled over this summer. Jey Uso ended up challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam, but Jey failed to win the title after Jimmy Uso interfered and prevented him from winning.
On the following episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Jey Uso superkicked his brother Jimmy, declared that he had quit WWE, and then he left through the crowd. Jey Uso spent a number of weeks sitting on the sidelines before Cody Rhodes announced at Payback that Jey would be returning to join the Raw brand.
Since joining the Monday Night Raw brand a few weeks ago Jey Uso has quickly become one of the top stars on the show, and the BWE X account is reporting that WWE is “extremely happy” with Jey’s singles run on Raw so far.
Jey Uso has been trying to prove himself to his former enemies on Raw such as Kevin Owens and Drew McIntyre, but it hasn’t been going so well. The Judgment Day is also trying to recruit the former Bloodline member, so it will be interesting to see where things go from here.
