In the weeks leading up to the Elimination Chamber premium live event everyone was wondering who was inside the mystery crate, and during the show it was revealed to be Danhausen. As Danhausen made his way down to the ring for a brief appearance the fans in the United Center booed his WWE debut. Even though his debut didn’t get the best reaction, Danhausen seems to be catching on with the WWE fans after making a few appearances on Raw and SmackDown, and his merchandise is also selling well.
Fightful Select is reporting that those they spoke to in WWE were happy with the quick turnaround of Danhausen. It was noted that most in the company knew his debut was a flop, but it’s being said that the situation didn’t rattle Danhausen and he responded well.
PWInsider is reporting that Danhausen has not been assigned to a brand as he’s still currently listed as a free agent. Danhausen recently confirmed that he will be at SmackDown tonight when he posted the following:
