You never know when a wrestler from NXT could get called up to the WWE main roster, and recently fans saw Damian Priest join the Monday Night Raw brand after making his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble.
According to Fightful Select, high level sources in WWE claim that Damian Priest is well liked backstage, and that he “turned heads” during his appearance at the Royal Rumble and on Raw the next night.
One employee noted that Damian Priest was given a full workload during his first two nights with the main roster, and he “did everything they could have expected.”
Priest has been getting a decent amount of TV time as of late since aligning himself with Bad Bunny, and this week on Raw he helped Bad Bunny win the 24/7 Championship.
It’s rumored that Damian Priest and Bad Bunny will be teaming up for a match at WrestleMania this year.
