Cody Rhodes has been the talk of the wrestling world ever since it was announced that he was leaving All Elite Wrestling, and it was recently reported that the former TNT Champion has signed a contract with WWE.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently took to Twitter to note that WWE talents he spoke with indicated that they are excited about the idea of Cody returning to the company.

Fightful Select reports that Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins at WrestleMania has been the direction for some time. However, it is being said that other “huge” creative pitches were made along the way, but it’s not clear if those pitches even made it to Cody Rhodes.
A WWE source reportedly indicated that travel for Cody is set for WrestleMania Sunday, but that could change at any moment. People close to Cody Rhodes denied that travel had been set for the event, but people within WWE were moving forward with the idea that Cody is set for night 2 of WrestleMania.
It was also noted that there are people in All Elite Wrestling who believe that Cody won’t be appearing on WWE programming until WrestleMania, but that was purely speculation.
