Earlier this year The Undertaker defeated AJ Styles in the first ever Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36, and shortly after he announced that he was done with in-ring competition.
On Sunday night The Deadman celebrated his 30th anniversary at the Survivor Series pay-per-view, and he also said farewell to the WWE Universe.
Quite a few familiar names appeared on screen to pay tribute to Taker, including Vince McMahon, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kane, Booker T and many others. Then The Deadman made his way to the ring to cut a promo.
The former WWE Champion ended his promo by saying that it’s time to say goodbye to The Undertaker, then he made his exit.
The Undertaker’s Final Farewell made a lot of people emotional, and emotions were also running high backstage at Survivor Series. Taker, Michelle McCool and others took to Instagram to share some photos which show a behind the scenes look at Taker’s farewell, and they can be seen below.
