WWE announced today that the brand split is returning and a draft is imminent. It’s not known exactly when the brand split will return, but SmackDown will be moving to Tuesdays and it will be going live starting July 19th.
A brand split is a big deal for WWE and according to F4Wonline.com Vince McMahon is reportedly “pumped up” and full of ideas for the upcoming split. It’s being reported that WWE will aggressively pursue talents that aren’t currently with the company so that they will have as many top stars as possible and they will also likely be calling up more talent from NXT.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the word backstage is that WWE will have two World Titles once again. The WWE Women’s Championship has not yet been addressed internally and it’s being speculated that the United States Championship and the Intercontinental Title will each be on separate shows.
