The main roster got a little bit bigger this week as Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan all got called up.
Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville joined the Raw, and Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan joined SmackDown Live.
The main roster is now loaded with talented female stars and Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Vince McMahon wanted to call up some fresh faces because he felt that the women’s division was getting stale.
Vince reportedly made the decision to call them up shortly after the Mae Young Classic.
Mandy Rose was apparently the first person confirmed for a call up as WWE officials had been pitching ideas for her to get called up since last year.
Now that the main roster has an influx of new names, we’ll have to wait and see how everyone is booked.
Not everyone can challenge for the Women’s Championship, and we recently wrote about the possibility of WWE introducing tag team titles for the women’s division.
The women’s divisions on the main roster and in NXT both seem to be going through changes right now.
