Randy Orton has been with WWE for a long time now, and for most of his career he’s been one of the company’s top stars. Orton is consistently featured in main event programs, and he’s a 13 time WWE World Champion.
Orton has been teaming with Shinsuke Nakamura as of late on SmackDown Live, and they’ve been wrapped up in a feud with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. It’s been a good year for Randy Orton, as he won the Royal Rumble, and won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 33, but it looks like he’ll be working a reduced schedule in 2018.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Orton is not currently being advertised for any events between 2/6 and 4/9, but he’s expected to be at WrestleMania. He’s also not being advertised for the European tour in May.
According to people who are reportedly close to Randy Orton, he’s very happy with his life right now as he’s able to work a lighter schedule with WWE which gives him a lot of weekends off, but he’s still featured at the top of the card and making millions of dollars.
A lot of guys have come and gone from WWE throughout Randy Orton’s career, but he’s stayed dedicated to the company, so it looks like he’s been put in a great spot after spending many years paying his dues.
