In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter it was reported that the plans in the works for Fastlane look to be going about the way which have been previously reported.
Goldberg is expected to challenge Kevin Owens for the Universal Title and Roman Reigns is set to face Braun Strowman. Sami Zayn is expected to challenge Chris Jericho for the United States Title. It was noted that Gallows and Anderson will probably get a straight up return match against Sheamus and Cesaro, but it’s possible that it could turn into a multi-team match.
It’s also being reported that whoever Charlotte is going against will ultimately lose the match to give her another win before WrestleMania. Regardless of who she faces the match for Orlando has apparently already been set to be a multi-person match for the Women’s Title which will feature Nia Jax and Bayley along with Sasha Banks.
Neville will also defend his Cruiserweight Championship against either Rich Swann or Cedric Alexander.
The recent angle with Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe on Raw was also meant to set up a match between Rollins and Joe for the pay-per-view, but that won’t be happening now due to Rollins’ injury.
