WWE has been pushing Roman Reigns as the face of the company for several years now, but it’s no big secret that the fans haven’t exactly accepted Roman Reigns as the top guy.
Despite the fact that Roman gets a mixed reaction, WWE continues to push him as a babyface, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is still trying to find ways to get the fans to cheer Roman, and that the company is trying to recreate the Daniel Bryan storyline by making it seem like management is screwing Roman out of the championship and favoring Brock Lesnar.
Even though the fans don’t seem to be buying into the storyline, WWE officials are still going with it.
Drew McIntyre recently returned to action after sitting on the sidelines for several months due to injury, and he’s currently working with Dolph Ziggler on Monday Night Raw.
During his time away from the ring, McIntyre drove 7 hours just to train, and WWE Hall of Famer DDP recently praised him on Twitter by saying he thinks Drew will be one of WWE’s next big stars.
