Vince McMahon retired from WWE back in July and shortly after it was announced that Triple H would be taking over WWE creative. Since then a number of WWE Superstars have gotten their full names back such as Matt Riddle and Austin Theory.
Fightful Select reports that even though Matt Riddle and Austin Theory both got their names back they were apparently fine with just using one word names. Tommaso Ciampa also got his full name back, but there are a number of wrestlers who are still listed as having one word names.
Shotzi (Blackheart), Angel (Garza), and Humberto (Carrillo) are all still reportedly listed with just one name within the company. Even though Shotzi doesn’t have her last name back she will be getting her tank back. It was also noted that Scarlett is not listed with “Bordeaux” in her name.
Bobby Lashley still has his full name listed although he has at times been listed internally as just “Lashley” in recent years. Pete Dunne is still listed as Butch and Seth Rollins is still listed as Seth “Freakin” Rollins, so it appears he won’t be losing the nickname. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
