This year several WWE talents requested to be released from their contracts, and WWE recently decided to grant some of those requests.
In a surprising move Luke Harper, Sin Cara, ACH and The Ascension were all released from their contracts over the last few weeks.
It seems that more talents could be let go, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the belief is more releases are coming.
However, it was also noted that these things change rapidly, and for so long the policy was that no one would be getting released. Then the idea was that if talents aren’t happy they should be let go, but they still weren’t getting released.
It’s also worth noting that with the exception of ACH/Jordan Myles all of the talents that were released were 39 or older.
