For years USA Network has been the home of Monday Night Raw, but it looks like the red brand could be moving. A few weeks ago WWE announced that USA Network has secured the rights for Friday Night SmackDown, and the blue brand is set to jump from FOX to USA in 2024.
With USA taking over the rights for SmackDown it seems that Raw and NXT are without a home at the moment. During a recent Bloomberg Screentime conference Ari Emanuel stated that there’s plenty of interest in Raw right now and he also indicated that he’s open to the idea of moving the show to a different night.
“We’re 52 weeks a year, right? We’re flexible. You want us Thursday night? You want us Tuesday night? I don’t have any of those scheduling issues,” Emanuel said.
WrestleVotes shared an update on rumors of Raw moving while noting that Endeavor is open to the idea, but there are said to be a ton of people backstage in WWE who are hoping Raw will remain on Mondays.
“Regarding the rumors of RAW moving nights, Endeavor is definitely open to it, which they have stated. I can say from a backstage (off camera) standpoint, there are tons of people who want RAW to continue on Mondays as is. Time will tell.”
We’ll have to wait and see how things play out as 2024 is sure to be an interesting year for the red brand. Stay tuned for updates.
