Keith Lee has been one of the stars to watch in NXT for some time now, and the night after the SummerSlam pay-per-view he officially made his debut on Monday Night Raw.
Since then Keith Lee has been on the receiving end of a decent push, feuding with names like Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre.
However, it doesn’t seem that WWE has any concrete plans for the former NXT Champion, as Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is “flying by the seat of their pants” when it comes to Keith Lee.
It’s being said that there’s no real plan in place in regards to his push, and that he’s simply on a list with other guys they’re pushing right now.
This week on Monday Night Raw it was announced that if Keith Lee could beat Drew McIntyre in the main event then he would earn the right to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at Night of Champions should Randy Orton not be able to compete.
The match ended in a no contest after RETRIBUTION interfered, so it will be interesting to see if WWE inserts Lee in the title picture moving forward.
