This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw continued to build up Hell in a Cell, but the show was originally supposed to featured a segment that never made it on the air.
Fightful Select reports that Theory was set for a segment with Mustafa Ali on Raw that was nixed before the show. According to the report the segment was cut due to time constraints and the segment was not listed for the show as of 7:25 EST.
There was said to have been talk of Theory getting involved with the beatdown of Cody Rhodes but ultimately that didn’t happen. The company didn’t put any alternative plans together for Ali, but there are plans to move forward with Miz and Ali on the red brand.
