Brock Lesnar has been one of WWE’s top stars for decades now and he’s been involved in some of the biggest matches on the WrestleMania card. The Beast does not officially have a match for Mania just yet, but earlier this week Omos challenged Brock Lesnar to a match on the Grandest Stage of Them All and told him to show up to Raw next week to answer the challenge.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that whatever the plan was for Lesnar at WrestleMania that plan was changed within the last week or two. It’s not known what the original plan was, but it was noted that a Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther match was not in the plans for WrestleMania.
The expectation is that whatever happens on Raw next week will set up the match with Brock Lesnar and Omos unless this is a swerve for something else, but right now all signs seem to be pointing to WWE moving forward with Lesnar vs. Omos.
WrestleMania 39 will air live from SoFi Stadium on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2. You can get more details on what WWE is planning for the main event of each night here.
