Brock Lesnar is usually involved in one of the biggest matches on the WrestleMania card and in recent weeks there’s been a lot of speculation regarding who The Beast could face on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Last week on Monday Night Raw, Omos issued a challenge to Brock Lesnar and Brock was invited to Raw this week to answer the challenge.
There’s been some speculation that Vince McMahon was involved in the potential Brock Lesnar vs. Omos match, but Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince’s involvement hasn’t been confirmed.
“I can’t say that that was due to Vince, but I can say [it] was a change. They actually planned out most of this card further in advance than usual, to Paul Levesque’s credit, probably.”
It was also noted that even though there have been changes made to the card a lot of the WrestleMania 39 plans were made last October. However, Meltzer pointed out that changes were made recently when he added, “I can’t say the day that the Lesnar match changed, but I do know there were changes in the card in the last week or two.”
